Construction of Infopark's Last Phase Started
IVG Commenced Earthworks of Infopark Building E
Earthworks of Building E, built as the last phase of Infopark, have commenced. With Building E to be handed over in Q3 2009, the modern office park located in Újbuda between the Buda side of Lágymányosi Bridge and the university buildings is going to offer a total office space of about 100,000 m2 to let. Infopark is not only the innovative centre of the representatives of IT, telecommunications and software development, but companies from other fields prefer to chose this location. Tenants include Magyar Telekom, IBM, Lufthansa Systems, Hewlett-Packard and DBH Business Services.
Building E is going to fit in the already operating buildings of the office park, featuring 50 % green space, with a clinker brick facade divided by spectacular glass surfaces. The special peculiarity of the office building will be its two sections of different height, which perfectly enable it to accommodate the headquarters of several large companies even. Beside the state-of-the-art technology and the outstanding office configuration efficiency IVG is known for, the panorama terraces with a view to the Danube and the Citadella, an inner garden and a coffee-room complete the conveniences of the building. Infopark Building E was designed by Kertész Építész Stúdió, while civil engineering works are being accomplished by PORR Építési Kft.
"After a ten-year-long presence in Budapest the completion of the development of Infopark is going to be a milestone for IVG. Infopark has become an extremely successful office location of prestige value over the past years, which is verified not only by the outstanding percentage of office space leased out already, but several rewarding prizes as well: Buildings C and D received the award Best Office Building Development in the year of their handover, while Building D has been awarded the Architectural Niveau Prize of Budapest recently. There is only 2,000 m2 of office space left to let here. I can assure our partners that Building E, currently under construction and intended to offer an area of 15,500 m2 to let, will be a worthy link in the chain of success of Infopark. Beside Infopark Building E, we carry out developments in other locations in Budapest: RiverPark offices and StefániaPark office building will offer high quality services to our future tenants." said Kay-Uwe Blandow, Managing Director of IVG Hungary Kft.
